A SEARCH is under way to find a successor to the man who has led the Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust since its inception.
Chris Long has been chief executive of the trust since it was established in April 2002.
He has now been appointed to the same role for West Hull and is expected to leave his current job in December.
His successor is likely to take up the post early in the New Year. In the interim, the trust's director of finance, Pat Taylor, will take on the job of acting chief executive.
Trust chairwoman Sue Young said: "We will be very sorry to lose Chris, whose leadership, hard work and commitment have been invaluable."
