AT home, there's no complaints; away from Victoria Park it's a different story altogether for Hartlepool United.
Pool meet Chesterfield on home soil this afternoon with the aim of keeping their impressive run of results going.
Then, they can turn attentions to Tuesday's trip to Brentford and next Saturday's visit to Peterborough.
So three points this afternoon are imperative - as an insurance policy if next week's double header continues in the same vein.
Last Friday's reverse at Luton was Pool's fifth away defeat of the campaign.
Their last home win - against Hull a fortnight ago - was their fourth from six at Victoria Park.
Only Luton and Brentford have better home records this season, but only Doncaster, Walsall and Oldham have worse away form.
Boss Neale Cooper cut an angry figure at Kenilworth Road last week and admitted: "Our away form last year was the best in the league, at the moment it's the worst.
"We have to keep our home form going until we get the away form right.
"It's frustrating because we play good football at times.''
He added: "Chesterfield have made a good start and we know that they will be high on confidence but we fancy our chances against anyone at home.
"The lads are desperate to get a result because they were very disappointed with the game at Luton.
"Our away form has been a bit of a problem so hopefully we can keep picking up the points at home where we have been playing very well.
"Away from home last year we had everything, we were tight and organised. We have to defend better than we are.''
That everything was the best away run in the Football League, with ten away wins and 37 goals in the bag.
Pool's back line has conceded 15 times away from home and conceded three at Luton and Oldham and four at Milton Keynes.
Cooper was critical of goalkeeper Jim Provett for the opening goal last week, when Steve Howard nodded in from close range, but the keeper will stay in goal this afternoon after recovering from a throat infection.
Martin Woods is back in contention for a place after missing the Luton defeat while on international duty for Scotland under-19s.
Leeds midfielder Woods faced Turkey, San Marino and Belgium in his countries colours before returning to Elland Road.
His month-long loan spell at Pool came to an end after the win over Hull, but a chat with Kevin Blackwell led to him returning to Victoria Park.
"I went back to Leeds and spoke with the manager and he felt that it would be better for me to be out on loan and playing games,'' he said.
"Once I knew his feelings there was only one club I wanted to go back to and that was Hartlepool because they looked after me so well.
"I was a little nervous initially going in to a new club but the other lads have been brilliant and made me feel welcome straight away.
"I was disappointed not to score in the month I had here but hopefully this time I can notch a couple and we can push up the table.
"The club have given me the chance to play at first team level which is what every player wants and hopefully I can re-pay them with a few goals.
"I usually play in the centre of the park which gives you the chance to get up and support the front two but I am happy to do a job anywhere."
Woods helped Scotland reach the final stages of the UEFA under-19 championship and admitted: "It was a good experience but I really want to push on and play higher but to do that I need regular First Team football - the Under 19 coach is Archie Gemmill and he is a legend so it was great to play under him."
