A SERIES of motivational talks will take place at a North-East university later this month.
Although primarily aimed at women, the event on Wednesday, October 27, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, at the University of Teesside, in Middlesbrough, is open to all.
It will feature speakers relating their experiences in the workplace and what it took for them to open the door to success.
The event will also provide an insight into the work of Opportunity Now and the North-East Local Academic Women's Network. It will be of particular interest to women's groups in the region.
Speakers include Professor Leni Oglesby, deputy vice-chancellor (academic) of the University of Teesside, Ginnie Willis, director of training and development at the University of Stirling and Julie Ashdown, account manager with Opportunity Now.
The event is free. To reserve a place contact Lee Graham on (01642) 342208.
