TWO schoolgirls have gained an insight into a law career as part of their work experience.
Amy Atkinson and Charlotte Potts, both 15, and pupils at Laurence Jackson School, Guisborough, have spent five days at the Combined Court Centre in Middlesbrough.
The work experience coincided with Inside Justice Week and gave both girls a behind-the-scenes look at the justice system.
Jackie Hall, courts customer service officer, said: "We regularly offer the chance for young people to gain work experience and they always find it a rewarding experience."
Members of the public found out more about the justice system on Saturday when the court staged a series of question and answer sessions involving Judge Les Spittle, Keith Simpson, head of the trials unit at the Crown Prosecution Service and barrister John Constable.
