YOUNG racers have put in the laps to raise money for charity.
Children expect to raise about £150 when all their sponsorship is collected after they circuited the YMCA nursery in Richmond on toy tractors and cars. The money will be given to the NSPCC to help stop cruelty to children.
Richmond Mayor Russell Lord presented the children with certificates to mark their achievements.
Nursery manager Maureen Curtis said: "One boy did so many laps we had trouble keeping count.
"It was a good way of raising money and also fits in with the curriculum, as it gave us the chance to talk about children who aren't as lucky as they are.
