THE founder of Tynemouth-based computer business PC4U has launched a company providing refill ink cartridges.
PC4U owner Steve Clancy has joined forces with three investors to create the firm, Think Inks!, which will create an initial three jobs.
The business's Tynemouth shop opened yesterday and PC4U hopes it will act as a launch pad, with plans already under way for a second outlet in Newcastle city centre next year.
Think Inks! aims to market itself to local schools and small businesses as well as home PC users and students.
The company will use a £15,000 machine that can refill ink cartridges at a high standard and low cost. The purchase is only the fifth of its kind in the country.
