Workers from a North-East company have been helping to improve a community farm.
Staff and contractors at the BP CATS Terminal, at Seal Sands, have been working at the Clarence Community Farm in nearby Port Clarence, on Teesside.
Projects carried out as part of a team-building exercise for BP CATS Terminal staff have included creating a picnic bench adapted for wheelchair users and pushchairs and providing a better entry to the playground.
A team of 35 has been involved in the project, including staff from contracting companies RC Ayres, which made the bench, and Hertel, which supplied paint.
Five new apprentices from the BP CATS Terminal were also involved in the project work, which is part of a long-running commitment from the company.
Dave Stobbs, the site manager for BP CATS, said: "This is a great opportunity for us to give some support to the local community."
The manager of Clarence Community Farm, Dave Featherstone, said: "We are very grateful when the BP CATS Terminal team comes down.
"They can do more in half a day than we can in three months."
Clarence Community Farm is open six days a week and can be contacted on (01642) 391975.
