POLICE investigating burglaries across North Yorkshire are appealing for help in re-uniting suspected stolen items with their owners.
Detectives at Thirsk have recovered a large amount of tack, including saddles, bridles, harnesses, bits, grooming equipment, blankets and riding helmets.
The property will go on display at the Old Police Station in Westgate, Thirsk, on Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
Members of the public who have lost tack are invited to see if they can identify property. To assist with verification, they are asked to bring evidence of ownership.
A man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and is on police bail pending further inquiries.
