A MOTHER-TO-BE appeared at Crown Court yesterday accused of shoplifting from a supermarket.
Heavily-pregnant Kelly Hodder, 32, pleaded not guilty to stealing two DVDs, two birthday cards and a cake from Asda on May 8.
Mr Recorder Simon Bourne-Arton ordered the case to be tried at Newcastle Crown Court after she has given birth. Hodder, of Barmston Way, Washington, Wearside, was given unconditional bail.
