A NORTH-East museum is holding a family fun-day to encourage youngsters to develop their creative skills.
The fun-day will be held at Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, County Durham, on Tuesday, and has been inspired by the museum's exhibition on Toulouse-Lautrec and the Art of the French Poster.
Three professional artists will work with families to create a large Toulouse-Lautrec-style poster using textiles and printing techniques.
There will also be quizzes and other activities.
Education assistant Catherine Bruce said: "We are really pleased to have such an exciting and colourful exhibition to base our family fun-day on and are looking forward to a fun-filled day."
Children must be accompanied by an adult for all activities. To book places, call (01833) 690606. Admission is free for children and the normal price for adults.
