A computer gaming session will take place at Stockton Central Library following overwhelming support for the service.
The CyberChaos Library Outreach Programmes will run three two-day Local Area Network gaming sessions at the library, after two earlier sessions met with extremely high demand.
The first session will take place this Saturday and the following Saturday from 10am to 4pm. This will be followed by another two-day event on Wednesday and Thursday, December 22 and 23. A further two-day event is planned for February half-term.
These events, funded by North-East Museums, Libraries and Archives Council, are to promote an interest in technology for youngsters who may not have access to computers, while at the same time developing relationships through team play.
The events are free and aimed at youngsters over the age of 12. However, anyone interested is asked to booked in advance by contacting (01642) 526522.
