AN energy centre is to be opened by the mayor of Stockton today.
Tees and Durham Energy Advice Company Limited, which offers expertise on how to save energy, will open its new premises on Belasis Hall Technology Park, Billingham.
The premises offer visual demonstrations of how people can save energy, and equipment on show includes solar water heating, sun-pipe illumination, a condensing boiler and high-efficiency lighting.
General manager David Lacey said: "Trying to save energy not only affects this generation, but also those in the future."
Free advice is available from the company on freephone 0800 512012. Visitors can also make appointments to see how they can save energy.
