A HORROR musical show of the butcher barber Sweeney Todd has been selling out at a Teesside school.
Pupils of Ian Ramsey CE School, in Stockton, began rehearsals at the beginning of the summer holidays.
Their hard work has paid off with near-sellout shows at the school in the past three nights.
The classic musical tells the story of 19th Century barber Sweeney Todd, who kills his customers and sells the bodies to a baker to be turned into meat pies.
Deputy headteacher John Grego said: "The reaction has been phenomenal.
"Everyone involved has worked so hard and everyone at the school is very proud of them.
"The words fantastic and stunning have been coming back to me from people who have seen the show."
The show ends tomorrow. Tickets cost £3, and are available on (01642) 585205.
