BLIND and visually-impaired students have been celebrating after raising more than £1,600 for college funds.
The youngsters, from Henshaw's College, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, raised the funds to help mark World Sight Day.
They displayed some of their tactile artwork at the local Asda store and showed passers-by how to write messages on a Brailler while one of the group, 18-year-old Adam Firth, provided light entertainment by showing off his skills as a DJ.
They also raised money in the town centre where students James Butcher and Nick Shaw played music on the accordion and keyboard.
