DINNER at a top restaurant and signed memorabilia are up for grabs at a Guisborough school's charity auction.
The Auction of Promises is set to raise £2,000 to help to pay for a computer upgrade at Highcliffe Primary School.
The school's parent teacher association has spent months arranging the event and has managed to secure a number of exciting prizes for the highest bidders.
Among the 112 promises that have been organised are a signed CD by Fame Academy's Alistair Griffin, a book autographed by Alan Titchmarch, tickets to shows, dinner at an exclusive restaurant, a day at the races, a mountain bike from Simon Bailes and a month's supply of wine.
The cash raised from the auction will go towards the £27,000 required to bring the school's computer network up to scratch.
The event takes place on November 12, at 7.30pm in the lower hall of the school in Hutton Lane.
There is also a licensed bar to help to loosen bidders' purse strings.
