THE Wensleydale Evening Cricket League presentation night was held at the Bolton Arms, Leyburn.
Trophies were presented to winning teams, best performing individuals and for sportsmanship
The presentations were made by Rachel Lambie, licensee of the Bolton Arms, Rosemary Bell, wife of John Bell and Sylvia Warne, wife of Malcolm Warne, editor of the Darlington & Stockton Times. All sponsor the league.
Trophies were presented to. - Division One, Masham; best batting average, Dione Wood (Masham); best bowling average, Carl Fowler (Spennithorne). Division Two, Richmond Mavericks; best batting, R Weedall (Leyburn); best bowling, S Lawson (Mavericks); Sportsmanship, Thornton Watlass; Junior Player of the Year, Miles Johnson (Thornton Watlass).
At the end of the evening, league sponsor John Bell thanked the league chairman and treasurer Goff Weatherill, secretary Kate Christopher and league report compiler Gill Marshall for their hard work during the past season.
