A MAN has admitted 15 charges of making indecent pictures of a child.
Stephen Hogan, 46, of High Street, Loftus, east Cleveland, appeared at Teesside Crown Court and had his case adjourned by Judge George Moorhouse for reports.
One of the charges related to 490 indecent photos and video images, the court heard.
Two charges of making indecent photos were dropped after Hogan pleaded not guilty.
Judge Moorhouse said Hogan would have to attend his local police station and will be placed on the sex offenders' register.
He said: "This is a serious matter and the mere fact that I am asking for a report on you must not give you any false hopes."
Hogan was bailed until his sentencing date, to be fixed.
