A VIDEO art installation depicting people in a variety of dangerous situations is featured at a North-East gallery.
Eye Witness by IOU is on display at the Myles Meehan Gallery, in the Arts Centre, Darlington.
The exhibition, created by several artists, projects scenes showing people whose lives are in mortal danger.
Each scene is shown in a continuous loop presenting a series of never-ending cliffhangers.
In one scene a woman is frantically trying to close the door on an intruder. Another shows someone clinging on to the window ledge of a high building.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, December 4.
There will be a gallery talk on Tuesday, November 1, at 2pm. Contact (01325) 348845 for further details.
