THE concepts of image and identity are the theme of a Teesside art exhibition.
As well as paintings at Hartlepool Art Gallery, there are videos and performances of drama by people who use the Warren Road social skills centre in Hartlepool.
There are more than 60 pieces of art on display as well as the videos which feature interviews of the artists and footage of them creating the work.
Claire Munroe, of Hartlepool Arts and Museum Service, said: "We are delighted to be hosting this exhibition.
"None of these talented artists has exhibited before, so this is the first chance to see their inspiring work."
The exhibition opened on Saturday and will be open until Sunday, November 7. The gallery, in Church Square, is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10am to 5.30pm, and on Sundays, from 2pm to 5pm.
The drama shows will only be held at certain times during the exhibition run.
