Bishop Auckland have signed midfielder Gavin Mudd from Durham City.
Mudd played under Bishops boss Brian Honour when the former Hartlepool player was in charge of the Northern League club, but he will miss Bishops' Durham Challenge Cup tie against Hebburn this Wednesday because he was signed after the seven days' registration deadline.
Bishops have also signed Chris I'Anson on a permanant basis from landlords Spennymoor after his month long loan ended.
Bishops' home game with Burscough on Saturday was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, as was Spennymoor's game at Leek, and Blyth's game at Witton Albion.
Whitby Town are still third after they won 2-0 at Prescot Cables, Steve Johnson and Graham Robinson scoring their goals.
Gateshead drew 2-2 with Bridlington, which means that Bishop Auckland are now bottom of the table. Mark Atkinson and Paul Taylor scored their goals.
