STUDENTS at one of Teesside's best regarded state schools have voted against the idea of a regional assembly.
The School Council at Guisborough's Lawrence Jackson School rejected the idea by 11 votes to none.
The debate was attended by the Mayor of Guisborough, Councillor Bill Clarke.
The event was organised as part of Local Democracy Week.
