AN award-winning gourmet shop is holding its annual charity event on Sunday, November 7.
Last year, Lewis and Cooper's Pre-Noel Day raised £2,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance and the Holistic Cancer Care Project.
This year it will raise money for the RNLI.
Customers at the North-allerton store will be asked to pay a small entry charge.
There will also be in-store competitions and a charity tombola.
General manager Victoria Kaye said: "For as long as I can remember, on a Sunday early in November, we have opened our doors to give our customers a very special preview of our Christmas range.
"We invite our customers to meet over 40 of our suppliers, sample their wares and gain an inspirational insight into the best of the forthcoming festive season's goodies."
Tickets are available for £2.50 by calling (01609) 766700, or at the door for £3.
