I'm worried about those fat kids. You know the ones. Whenever there's an article or news item about the growing problem of obesity in children, there's always a couple of pictures - an enormously fat boy stuffing himself with crisps while watching television, fat little girls in too tight swimsuits, grotesque toddlers waddling rather than toddling, teenagers in shorts the size of tents and T-shirts like marquees.

Who are these children? Did they agree to be held up as a dreadful example? Did their parents know what they were doing? Do they mind their pictures, their flab, being plastered across the papers and screens in that way? Do they get teased at school? Do they feel utterly miserable and rush to a chocolate bar for comfort, with a burger and chips to wash it down so that they are even fatter the next time someone wants a flab pic?

It seems so cruel and I just wonder about them, that's all.
