TWO historic examples of British engineering are to be reunited.
The road locomotive Iron Maiden will appear with the Victor V bomber at Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, near York. Both featured in the 1960s' classic British comedy film, also called Iron Maiden.
The locomotive is owned by Graham Atkinson, of the Flower of May Holiday Park, Scarborough.
Museum director Ian Reed said: "We are delighted that Mr Atkinson has kindly agreed to help us reunite the Iron Maiden with the Victor bomber, thus giving the visiting public the chance to admire two of the finest examples of British engineering history side-by-side."
The pair will be on display this weekend at the museum . Admission costs £5 for adults, £4 for senior citizens and £3 for children.
