EAST Durham residents can hear about plans to improve council houses by attending monthly board meetings.
The newly-appointed board of East Durham Homes, the company in charge of Easington District Council's housing stock, meets monthly at different venues to allow people better access to the decision making process.
The next board meeting is to be held tomorrow at 2pm at Hill Rigg House, Peterlee.
East Durham Homes looks after the management, repairs and maintenance of more than 10,500 homes as well as running care services.
