Yet another driver has had to be rescued from the middle of Stanhope Ford.
In the winter there's usually a lot of rain, the current's strong and the rocks are slimy. On sunny summer days it's usually packed with children paddling.
Going through the ford saves about half a mile of driving. Is it really worth it?
