A SEVEN-PART television series filmed at one of the region's gardens will start next week.
Gardens Through Time is based on seven gardens at the Royal Horticultural Society's Harlow Carr gardens, in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
They reflect 200 years of gardening history and were created to mark the society's bicentenary.
The series is being hosted by garden designer and broadcaster Diarmuid Gavin and historian Jane Owen.
It will begin on BBC2 at 8pm on Tuesday.
Diarmuid will talk about the series at 7.30pm on November 15, at the Cairn Hotel, Harrogate.
Tickets are £12.50 for society members and £16 for non-members, available on (01423) 565418.
