LIVESTOCK producers and meat processors in North Yorkshire are invited to two meetings to look at new opportunities for exporting meat to France and Germany.
There is also an opportunity to visit Germany in January and France in February to meet potential customers and study the market.
Organised by North Yorkshire County Council, the meetings are at the Golden Fleece, Thirsk, from 12-30-4-30 on Wednesday (Germany) and Tuesday, November 30, (France).
Experts from Eblex will discuss quality specifications and market requirements. Regulatory issues, credit control and other documentation required will also be covered.
There is a £10 charge to cover refreshments. For a place, contact Julia Hutchinson at the county economic development unit on 01609 532294 or Nick White on 01609 532974.
