SCHOOLS in a sun-drenched Caribbean island school could soon link up with young people from County Durham.
Primary school teachers from around the world are meeting in the county to link up with schools from the region. About 65 delegates will attend the seminar from November 4 to November 7, including one delegate from the tiny island of Martinique, in the Caribbean.
Schools taking part include Bishop Ian Ramsey CE Primary in Medomsley, Bowes Hutchinson CE Primary in Bowes, Cockton Hill Infants, Bishop Auckland, Cotherstone Primary and Montalbo Primary in Barnard Castle.
