UniBond League: Bishop Auckland manager Brian Honour is hoping for a vast improvement when his side go to Lincoln United today.
Bishops were embarrassed in the Durham challenge Cup by lowly Hebburn in midweek, and Honour said: "Everybody must respond today.
"The job in hand is getting out of the relegation zone as soon as possible, that must be our prime objective. We must put things right today."
Bishops are bottom of the table, one point behind Gateshead and Frickley. Midfielder Gavin Mudd will make his debut after signing from Durham City, while midfielder Steve Salvin and striker Chris I'Anson will both return.
Spennymoor are looking for their first win in five league games when they face Prescot Cables at the Brewery Field.
Keeper Darren Horrigan makes his return debut after a brief spell at Scarborough, while midfielder Keith Graydon has a hamstring problem.
Manager Graham Clark said: "It's important that we win to keep in touch with the top half of the table, because we've slipped because of our Durham Challenge Cup tie and last Saturday's postponement."
Gateshead are hoping to advance in the FA Cup when they go to Stafford Rangers in the fourth qualifying round this afternoon.
They could be without midfielder David Yale because of injury.
