TWO villagers are aiming to tackle a mountain to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, which helps locate bone marrow donors.
GP Peter Jones and leisure and planning consultant Geoff Hughes, from Sedgefield, County Durham, will join other fundraisers to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, in Africa.
The men are appealing for sponsorship to help them make the trip, which begins on March 11.
Mr Hughes said: "We must make a minimum of £3,150 sponsorship as well as making a personal contribution of £399.''
It is the second time the pair have challenged their fitness for the trust. Their first trek saw them cycle across Mexico to raise £10,000.
Anyone who can help, can contact Mr Hughes at 36 Spring Lane, Sedgefield, or call him on (01740) 620928.
