A TEN-YEAR-OLD boy became the envy of every child in the country when he had a truckload of toys delivered to his door.
Matthew Clark, of Graythwaite, Chester-le-Street, won the prize through Cartoon Network's weekly Truckatoon competition.
Cartoon Network's custom-made 40ft lorry delivered his prize.
As part of the prize, Cartoon Network will also deliver a crate of toys to the nearby Selby Cottage Childcare Centre.
Matthew, a pupil at Chester-le-Street Junior School, phoned Cartoon Network on Saturday when his Truckatoon card number appeared on the channel. He tuned in to live animation show Skatoony Truckatoony at 9.30am, during which the cartoon's hosts, Chudd and Earl, phoned him to say he had won the top prize.
Among the toys were a mountain bike, television, karaoke machine, board games, action figures and a CD Walkman.
He said: "This is so exciting, I can't believe I've won."
His mother, Mandie Heslop, said: "Matthew has just celebrated his tenth birthday, so winning Truckatoon is an amazing extra birthday treat for him."
Matthew nominated his friends, Christopher Nicholson and Scott Hawkes, to also get a box of toys.
