THE Royal Air Force is flying in to help school children improve on their maths.
RAF service personnel who are qualified teachers will deliver 50 workshops to more than 1,500 students in 25 schools across Britain this month.
And one of the first groups of pupils to benefit from a visit from the Maths Workshop Tour yesterday were from the Laurence Jackson comprehensive school in Guisborough.
Different topics from the maths curriculum are explored through various careers within the RAF, to demonstrate to the students how maths is used at work.
