CAMPAIGNERS on the front-line of the war against HIV and Aids will be in Durham City today to talk to university students.
Among those speaking will be 24-year-old Henry Hudson, who is HIV positive and works in an Aids challenge youth club in his native Uganda.
He will be accompanied by Manford Ncube, a 25-year-old from Zimbabwe, who lost his two best friends at the age of 18 to Aids, and Mandisa Mbali, a 23-year-old researcher from the University of KwaZulu, in South Africa.
Mandisa said: "Access to HIV treatment is a human right. Ensuring it is realised is one of the most important challenges for our generation."
The Student Stop Aids Campaign, sponsored by MTV, takes place in the Fonteyn Ballroom of the Student Un-ion, Dunelm House, in New Elvet.
