KATE ADIE and the Duchess of Northumberland will speak at a charity concert for the Feast of St Nicholas, in Durham Cathedral, on Friday, December 3, at 6.30pm.
Performances will be given by Durham University's Choral Society and the Carol Andrew Singers.
Proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Relief, Marie Curie Cancer Care and St Cuthbert's Hospice, in Durham.
The Bishop of Durham will also speak.
Virginia Trotter, a patron of Marie Curie Cancer Care, is arranging a coach from Barnard Castle and Staindrop to the event.
