A LIBRARY will re-open later this month following refurbishment.
Easingwold Library has £20,000 of new stock, a new collection of DVDs and an Internet suite.
There is also a children's library including story tapes, videos and DVDs and baby-changing facilities.
The Registration Service will be available from the library, enabling people to register births and deaths locally.
County Councillor Carl Les, executive member for libraries, said: "Easingwold Library and information centre is a much-improved facility, providing access to a range of excellent services at a local level. Customers are encouraged to pop in and see what is on offer."
The refurbishment has been carried out as part of a £6.4m spending programme to improve libraries in North Yorkshire.
The library will re-open on Tuesday, November 16 at 3pm.
