Animal lovers have one last chance to check out the wildlife at one of the region's nature reserves.
The guided visit to to British Energy's observation hide overlooking Teesmouth National Nature Reserve, at Seal Sands, on Sunday, November 14, starts at 10am.
The trip from Teesmouth Field Centre - the last scheduled for this year - will be led by English Nature site manager Mike Leakey.
He said: "2004 has been a good year for our seal colony, with six pups born and successfully weaned. Up to 58 harbour seals and 31 grey seals have been counted."
The event is free and anyone interested can book places on (01429) 853325.
