YOUNGSTERS can use a mobile skateboard on their doorsteps.
The facility has been provided by Easington District Council's Safety Partnership and the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund and is available free to community groups.
The mobile park is taken to any venue by the council's street wardens and the local police youth issues officer.
Stephen Clark, the council's youth strategy co-ordinator said: "The park is already a great success with more than a thousand young people using it over the last month.
"The scheme is an excellent example of organisations such as the council, Easington Community Safety Partnership, police and local community groups coming together."
Groups wanting to book should call 0191-518 6340.
