TWO gold medals and a silver at last weekend's English Home Pony International at Chester capped an amazing show jumping season for a young Cleveland rider.
Eleven-year-old Pippa Allen from Thornaby won team gold and individual gold and silver when representing England for the third time this year.
The medals added to an impressive haul which includes team gold and individual silver in Scotland, together with a team silver and individual bronze in Ireland.
Pippa, a pupil at Red House School in Norton, also won the Scope Festival at Stafford this year and finished third at the BSJA festival at Grantham.
She is also the Scottish 128cm champion and qualified four ponies for both the major championships, finishing fifth at the Royal International Show at Hickstead and sixth and seventh at the Horse of the Year Show.
Pippa, who was also the area points winner, rides Stainsby Starburst, Silver Wonder and Corralass. She lives and trains at Stainsby Grange Equestrian Centre, Thornaby.
