THE RAF is flying in to help schoolchildren to improve on their maths.
Air Force personnel who are also qualified teachers are delivering 50 workshops to more than 1,500 students in 25 schools in Britain this month. One of the first to benefit from a visit from the Maths Workshop Tour this week was the Laurence Jackson Comprehensive School, in Guisborough.
Different topics from the maths curriculum are explored through various careers within the RAF, to demonstrate to the students how maths is used at work.
