Blackwell: 10.30am, service at All Saints and Salutation, with a parade of uniformed organisations.

Cockerton: 10.30am, service at Cockerton Methodist Church.

Heighington: 10.30am, service at St Michael's Church, followed by wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial.

Hummersknott: 2:30pm, short service at the war graves in West Cemetery.

Woodland Road: 10am, service at Holy Trinity Church, followed by parade from Vane Terrace to the cenotaph via Woodlands Road and Hollyhurst Road. Wreath-laying ceremony and service at the cenotaph at 11am. Alan Millburn MP will be in attendance.

SOUTH-WEST DURHAM

Aycliffe Village: 3pm, service and wreath-laying at St Andrew's Church.

Barnard Castle: 11am, service at St Mary's Parish Church, followed by a parade at about 11.40am, with Barnard Castle Band and uniformed organisations, to the war memorial in the grounds of the Bowes Museum, where a further ceremony will take place.

Bishop Auckland: 11am, Service of Remembrance and Recognition at the War Memorial followed by worship in St Anne's Church.

Crook: 2pm, parade starts outside the Health Centre, in Hope Street, and arrives at St Catherine's Church for a service at 2.30pm.

Coundon: 10am, Mass at St James Church followed by Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph at 11am.

Eastgate: 11.30am, service in the Parish Church.

Eggleston: 9am, Remembrance Service held at Holy Trinity Church. Please note the early start.

Escomb: 12.15pm Act of Remembrance at the cenotaph in the old St John's burial ground, following a Service of Communion in the church at 11am.

Ferryhill: 9.45am, parade leaves the Market Place for St Luke's Church. Service at 10am, followed by parade to cenotaph for wreath-laying at 11am in the Town Hall gardens.

Frosterley: 10.30am, service in the Parish Church.

Gainford: 10.45am, Churches Together, in Gainford, is holding a Remembrance Service at St Mary's Church. Meet outside the church at the war memorial for wreath-laying ceremony with representatives from Scouts, Guides and other uniformed organisations. A service will then be held in the church.

Heatherycleugh: 9am, church service, followed by wreath-laying at 10am at Copt Hill.

Helmington Row: 11am, wreath-laying ceremony at the cenotaph.

Hunwick: 9.15am, service in St Paul's Church followed by wreath-laying at the cenotaph.

Middleton-in-Teesdale: 10am, joint Methodist and Anglican service at St Mary's Church, followed by a short procession to the cenotaph for a wreath-laying ceremony at 11am.

Middridge: 11.50am, parade leaves the village hall to the village green for a service at noon at the war memorial.

Newton Aycliffe: 10.45am, parade from Barnard Armoury, Greenwell Road to St Clare's Church to observe silence before church service. After service, parade marches along Stephenson Way for wreath-laying at noon.

Rookhope: 3pm, service in the church.

St Helen Auckland and West Auckland: 10am, Requiem Mass in St Helen's Parish Church.

Sedgefield: 10am, service at St Edmund's Church followed by gathering outside the church for wreath-laying and silence at 11am.

Shildon: 10.45am Saturday, short parade from New Shildon war memorial, opposite the Railway Institute, in Redworth Road, for a ceremony at 11am. 10.45am Sunday, parade leaves Shildon bus station to the war memorial at St John's Church, for service at 11am.

St John's Chapel: 10.30am, service in the church.

Thornley: 9.30am, Remembrance service at St Bartholomew's Church.

Tow Law: 10am, procession from Dans Castle to the Parish Church for a service at 10.30am. At the end of the service, the procession moves on to the cenotaph for the laying of wreaths.

West Cornforth: 10am, service at Holy Trinity Church, followed by parade at 10.45am to cenotaph for wreath-laying at 11am.

Westgate: 11am, service in the village hall.

Willington: 6pm Saturday, service at Our Lady and St Thomas RC Church. Then on Sunday, at 3pm, wreath-laying at the cenotaph, followed by a parade to St Stephen's Church, led by Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band. A service at 3pm is followed by a presentation and buffet at Willington Cricket Club.

Redcar: 10.40am, parade marches from Royal British Legion Club, in Coatham Road, for service at war memorial.

Saltburn: 9.30am, parade to Church of Emmanuel for 10am service, followed by march to war memorial for wreath-laying.

Skelton: 10am, service at Methodist Church, followed by 11am wreath-laying at war memorial.

Stockton: 10.25am, the parade will assemble in Yarm Lane and move off in time for a service at the cenotaph, beside the parish church, at 10.50am. Following the service, there will be another service at the parish church. The parade will then re-form and march down the High Street.

Thornaby: 9.30am, parade will assemble at Thornaby Ex-Servicemen's Club car park and will head to St Luke's Church for a service, which will be followed by a service at the cenotaph in Acklam Road.

Yarm: 9.30am, service in the Parish Church, followed at 10.30am by a procession to the war memorial.

EAST DURHAM

Easington: 9am, service at All Saints Church, 9:45am wreath-laying at war memorial.

Peterlee: 10.30am, parade led by Royal British Legion band, leaves Peterlee Sports and Social Club, formerly the Royal British Legion Club, Ellison Road, to St Cuthbert's Church in Manor Way, for service at 10.55am.

Seaham: 11am, service at the war memorial in North Terrace.

NORTH DURHAM

Annfield Plain: 1.30pm, meet at disco car park followed by service at Annfield Plain Central Methodist Church at 2pm. Wreath-laying at about 2.30pm.

Blackhill: 11am, at St Mary's RC Church, Blackhill, followed by wreath-laying.

Chester-le-Street: 10.15am, parade starts at rear car park of Civic Centre, taking route along Newcastle Road, up Front Street to St Mary's and St Cuthbert's Parish Church for Remembrance Service at 10.45am.

Consett: 10.30am, assemble at Parliament Street for procession to Civic Centre with wreath-laying at 11am followed by service at Civic Hall at about 11.10am.

Craghead: 11am, service at the cenotaph, followed by wreath-laying.

Durham: 10.15am, service at Durham Cathedral, ending with silence and wreath-laying at cathedral memorial, followed by parade of ex-servicemen from Palace Green to Market Place.

Lanchester: 10am, at The Green, followed by Ecumencial Service and wreath-laying by Lanchester ward councillors.

Leadgate: 10.45pm, wreath-laying and service at the war memorial in Durham Road.

Shotley Bridge: 3pm, with service and wreath-laying at war memorial.

Stanley: 9.45am, at St Andrew's Church, followed by wreath-laying.

TYNESIDE

Birtley: 10am, Birtley Community Centre, Ravensworth Road. 10.35am, parade led by Fishburn Band, accompanied by St Joseph's Male Voice Choir, from the centre. Ecumenical service at St Joseph's RC Church, 10.45am.

Gateshead: 11am Thursday, service at Gateshead MetroCentre.

Newcastle: 10am, Lord Mayor Councillor George Douglas places wreaths at memorials near the Civic Centre, including the Renwick War Monument, The Burma Star Memorial, The Memorial to the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and the South African War Memorial, followed at 11am by commemorations at service at Old Eldon Square. Salute will be taken at Grey's Monument.
