A GOTHIC melodrama set in rural France is the latest play at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond.
The Bells tells of the demise of mayor and murderer Matthias as his crime returns to haunt him after 15 years.
Performed by the Halifax-based Northern Broadsides, the play has been adapted by Deborah McAndrew, formerly Angie Freeman in Coronation Street.
The Bells opens on November 16 until November 20. Tickets range from £6.50 to £16.50. To book call (01748) 825252.
