PUPILS are getting a taste of further education while studying for a computer qualification.
Hurworth School pupils are travelling to Darlington College of Technology every week to study for the European Computer Driving Licence qualification.
The youngsters attend the campus for a three-hour session in the IT suite as they strive to complete all eight modules. At the end of the 25- week course they will have a computer qualification recognised across Europe.
Hurworth teacher Nick Gawthorpe said: "It is great for the pupils to experience student life."
