CHILDREN will take part in two leadership days run by Territorial Army units based in Middlesbrough.
The two-day event, for the Tees Valley Young Enterprise Scheme, will be held at Brambles Farm and Coulby Newham TA Centres tomorrow and Wednesday, involving local civilian services and members of the TA.
Teams will be challenged to carry out leadership tasks.
Points will be awarded for performance and there will be a prize for the winner.
The leadership days are part of 34 Signal Regiment's wider involvement with the local community.
Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Garry Hearn said: "I am very keen to maintain a strong relationship with the local community which is where the majority of my regiment live and work.
"The TA offers a great career and an exciting challenge to the younger members of the local area."
