POP star Zoe Birkett launched a non-surgical cosmetic service in Darlington at the weekend.
Face Clinique opened in the Leggs womenswear shop, in Skinnergate, on Saturday, offering treatments including teeth whitening, Botox, collagen and derma-fillers.
The business, on the third floor of the shop, has been set up by dental surgeon Paul Ambler.
The 44-year-old said: "I think there is definitely a growing market for these kinds of treatments, which can make people look ten times younger."
At 19, Pop Idol finalist Zoe, from Darlington, does not need any treatments herself, but said the idea of making the service so accessible to shoppers was ideal.
"Women want to look after themselves and I think it is a great idea to have Face Clinique based here," she said.
The singer, who is engaged to Pop Idol second series finalist Mark Rhodes, said she is still singing and more recently has tried her hand at acting for the BBC.
Leggs womenswear also has a nail bar and offers beauty treatments and waxing.
Owner Ann Coxon said: "This is a further extension to the services we offer. Our customers are the sort of people who like to take care of themselves, and I think Face Clinique will prove popular."
