PREPARATIONS are well under way for an Edwardian Christmas festival.
The National Railway Museum in York will host the event on November 27 and 28.
Father Christmas will arrive on the Flying Scotsman, and there will be dancing with the Arbeau Dancers and storytelling by the Dickens Readers.
York Railway Institute Brass Band will perform a medley of carols, along with quartet Quodlibet, who will sing seasonal period music.
Programmes manager Paul Bisson said: "The Edwardian Festival is always a hugely popular event for all the family and this year it is set to be even better, with lots of theatre, music and dancing."
