A WOMAN who died in a head-on collision on the A170 in North Yorkshire has now been formally identified by police. She was Samantha Mary Walker, a 21-year-old who lived in Thornton-le-Dale, near Pickering. She was killed on Monday night when the silver Citroen Saxo she was driving was in a head-on collision with a blue Skoda Octavia. And elderly woman and her son, who were in the Octavia, were treated for minor injuries and shock.
