A MAN is hoping to visit the place where North-East naturalist David Green was murdered in India.
Since reading about Mr Green's death, Charles Clark has felt a spiritual connection with the popular artist and nature-lover.
Mr Clark, who moved from Brandon, County Durham, to live in Scotland two years ago, hopes to speak to Mr Green's family before flying to India at the end of the month.
"India is a very spiritual place - this will be my seventh visit," he said. "I understand that David used to go out there all the time and I just wanted to speak to his family in case there is anything I can do or anyone I can speak to for them while I am there."
Mr Green, 53, was shot in the back in January as he sketched wildlife.
Three Indian men have been found guilty of murder and robbery.
