HOSPITAL boss Kevin Oxley put his best foot forward to raise £400 for Darlington Association on Disability (Dad).
The Memorial Hospital's director of facilities competed in the Great North Run half marathon to help boost the charity's coffers.
Yesterday, he presented a cheque to members of the association.
Mr Oxley, 44, said: "I have had a bit of involvement with Dad down the years, looking at disabled access issues.
"I wanted to do something for a local charity so this was ideal."
Association manager Lauren Robinson said: "There's so many good causes out there, we're really delighted that Kevin has chosen to do this for us."
