THE house where twin sisters Claire and Diane Sanderson, aged 27, died has been put on the market.

The bodies of the sisters were discovered at the house in Camblesforth, near Selby, North Yorkshire, on July 18 .

On the same day, pensioners James and Joan Britton were found dead at their home in Strensall, near York, and a murder hunt was launched.

The one-bedroom house, in Camblesforth, is on the market at £73,000 - £3,000 more than a similar home nearby.

Estate agents Ashtons make no mention of its tragic past in the sales brochure and describe it as a beautifully-presented starter home.

Manager Andrew Wilson said he was not prepared to make any comment.

The house was rented by Claire Sanderson, who worked at Rigid Containers factory, in Selby. Diane was assistant manager at the Roseby's shop, in Market Cross, Selby.

The property at Camblesforth has undergone a makeover since it became the focus of national media attention in July.

* Mark Hobson, 34, of New Lane, Selby, has been charged with the murders of the Sanderson sisters and the Brittons. He is due to appear before Leeds Crown Court next month.
